What historical event fascinates you the most?
History fascinates me. I love studying past events, both local and global. I enjoy analyzing history through a social lens. I try to understand what was going on in the minds of those generations. Thus, I grasp why certain events unfolded. Within the vast realm of history, I’m especially drawn to the wars our ancestors fought. The two great world wars of the 20th century captivate me the most.
I like to study the historical context of both wars, tracing back several decades before they erupted. I’m intrigued by what was happening in Europe during those times—situations that often reach back centuries. Wartime stories of love, heroism, and strategy from both conflicts move me. The horrors scarred a generation. The global landscape was profoundly transformed afterward.
The two world wars of the 20th century are highly significant. I believe they are the most consequential events in human history. This is since the discovery of the Americas.
