What do you listen to while you work?
No music at work, LoFi House or Electronic Jazz at home.
I work in a NOC (Network Operation Center), and when I’m there, any kind of music throws off my concentration. Some might call it a bit obsessive, but I find calm in the ambient sounds of the daily bustle—engineers in infrastructure and networking monitoring systems and resolving incidents. At work, nothing beats the symphony of servers, racks, and data centers running applications efficiently.
At home, the story changes. When I’m working remotely, a LoFi House or Deep Focus playlist helps me stay focused on my routine. Those smooth LoFi electronic jazz beats boost my productivity and help me connect more deeply with what I’m doing.
