Write about a random act of kindness you’ve done for someone.

Sponsoring the New Workforce.

Every new project demands assembling its own dedicated team. And as a project lead, I don’t always have the same personnel from one initiative to the next. Some team members arrive with deep expertise in their field; others are just beginning to take their first steps into the world of IT projects. Some are eager to learn and grow, while others are simply there for a paycheck, following instructions on where to show up.

But if there’s one thing that truly catches my professional eye, it’s a young person with no experience but a genuine hunger to learn. Whenever I spot a future expert in the making, I never hesitate to teach—and in some cases, even sponsor their online training and certifications. There’s something deeply rewarding about watching someone, with just a little push, begin to gain the knowledge and credentials needed to thrive in each project. Often, they simply don’t know where to start.

I’m not sure if this is an act of kindness or just part of my responsibility—to give back some of the knowledge I myself received when I was starting out. But in those young professionals, I see future engineers and immense potential in the next generation.
