What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?
I don’t really keep track of this because I usually don’t spend much on eating out. In my country, dining at a good restaurant costs around $25 per person, which is quite reasonable. On the other hand, in the U.S. for example, that figure can rise to about $75 per person. While that’s expensive by our standards, over there, and depending on the state, it be considered the norm.
I don’t recall ever spending more than that average anywhere. Keeping in mind that that average depends on the place, the food, the time, etc. What I do remember are the good times and the company. I enjoyed being with family and friends. With the right company, it’s always worth it—the cost fades with time, but the good memories don’t.
