Are you holding a grudge? About?
No—for the sake of our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Not a single trace of resentment should linger in our system. It should not stay even for a moment. Life will always offer us situations, places, or people that discourage us, disappoint us, and wound us. We can’t control the external factors that make us feel bad. Yet, we can control our attitude toward those factors. When someone hurts us, it’s often their own insecurities and fears at play. The one who wounds is usually wounding themselves in front of a mirror.
Holding onto resentment lets it fester in our minds and emotions, it is like carrying a heavy burden. This burden slows us down in the pursuit of our dreams.
