What would you do if you lost all your possessions?
Same as last time.
Start again from scratch. Get the finances in order. Spend only on essentials. Block credit cards. Reduce debt. Step out of the comfort zone. Lower the standard of living we had grown accustomed to. Keep the discipline to uphold an austerity policy that will demand time, pain, and sacrifice. And, just like last time, those with a clear plan gradually recover possessions. They have the discipline to follow their plan to the letter and not to do the same mistakes again.
Health is our greatest wealth.
As long as we have our health—and truly the will to work—material things return in due time. I know it sounds easy to say. Still, anyone who knows me understands I’m the living example of what it means to lose everything. I have earned it all back.
