Every Sunday, this place awakens with a quiet magic.

The flow of people gathering for the morning mass, along with the vibrant street vendors, fills the area with life. It evokes the spirit of a small colonial town. In this town, warmth, kindness, and tradition stay beautifully intact.

Just across from the church lies a beloved viewpoint known as “Loma de Quito”. It is a winding path of stone. This path leads to one of the most unique panoramas of the city. When nature and weather align, the distant snow-capped peaks become visible. The surrounding mountains reveal themselves as well. This adds an enchanting touch that feels exclusive to this corner of the world.

It is one of my favorite places in the city. Here I share a few captures taken on an ordinary Sunday. These moments remind me why this place feels extraordinary.
