Tell us about your first day at something — school, work, as a parent, etc.
As parents, the first times with our children are the most unforgettable memories.
I remember with my eldest son his second day of school. He was 3 years old. On his first day of school, everything went perfectly. This happened especially because we accompanied him and stayed by his side for most of the day. But his second day of school was special for all of us. It was the first time he was going somewhere alone without his parents. The school bus driver was very trustworthy. He was also very good with children. Despite that, both him and I found saying goodbye emotional. Watching the bus leave was one of the most emotional moments I can recall. I had to hold back my tears to prevent his from turning into uncontrollable crying. I remember that morning as one of the most bittersweet moments in my stage as a father.
On the third day of school, everything was already normal. He was happy to return to school for the third consecutive day and there was no emotional moment for him. But, for me the whole week was emotional, and I cried every day I saw him leave.
