Tell us one thing you hope people say about you.
We can’t control what people say about us. Some things will be positive, others negative. Some things will be true, and many times they are false. It depends on the person receiving the message whether they accept that information for better or for worse. It is something we can’t control, nor should it affect us.
I believe what we all truly wish is that people rejoice at our arrival. It’s better to witness people’s joy when we arrive. This matters more than what they say about us. Their joy is meaningful not when we leave. It is comforting to arrive somewhere. It’s a pleasure to feel that people are genuinely glad for our presence. They appreciate us not out of interest, but out of true appreciation and consideration.
There are people who light up the room when they arrive, and others who do so when they leave.
