Man has been inventing since the very beginnings of history as hunter-gatherers. Man is the only known species capable of transforming the elements of the universe. Humans can turn these elements into completely different things. Likewise, man is the only known species that can create new universes out of nothing. He captures them in beautiful art masterpieces. Still, man is the only known species that can transform things into harmful objects. These objects satisfy his lowest instincts.

I have always thought that weapons have been the worst human invention. Weapons have existed from ancient flint knives to the atomic bomb. Their invention demonstrates the most primitive aspects of the human race. We can say that the purpose of creating weapons is survival and defense. But, they are also used to impose power over the weak. Weapons do not kill anyone. Still, they make it easier for human weakness and emotions to commit atrocities.

The worst invention man has ever created has been all the artifacts designed solely and exclusively to kill another human being.
