They say any weather feels good when you’re with the right company. And sure, that’s true. But since this time I’m answering from those days when I choose to be alone, things shift a little. When I head out by myself, my ideal weather is cold, cloudy, and dry. It’s the weather that invites you to walk without rushing. You get lost on a trail and listen to the silence of the mountains. That’s where I really feel at home.

Hot, humid climates aren’t for me—they drain me, slow me down. Overly sunny days aren’t my favorite. But, there are two magical moments I love. These are sunrise and sunset. During these times, the light softens, and the world seems to breathe a little slower.
