This question is a bit negative and not usually in the spirit of these daily prompts; however, I’ll answer it with what I truly think. Let’s set aside places where there are wars and conflicts. Those are places that obviously no one would want to visit. My answer focuses on places where there is peace. Among those, the places with the highest crime rates are completely off my list of places to visit.

They say the worst places in the world are cemeteries, hospitals, and prisons. Regarding the first, it’s inevitable that one day we will end up as their guests. As for the second, it’s a blessing to wake up in our warm bed and not in a hospital room. I think very few people enjoy visiting hospitals, and even fewer when we are the ones who need care. Sometimes it’s unavoidable. As for the third, prisons must be the worst places in the world where there is peace. I would never want to visit one.
