I don’t know if it will stay with me forever, but a phrase that keeps repeating in my mind is “Everyday is a winding road,” from Sheryl Crow’s popular song — and nothing feels truer. Each day is a new adventure to be grateful for and to live fully. Neither the past nor the future exist. Only the day we have ahead of us is real.
