Thankfully, I haven’t had any surgeries so far. However, during my teenage years, I injured my knee in a fall and had to have synovial fluid extracted with a needle in a procedure called joint aspiration. My leg was immobilized for several weeks. It’s the closest thing to surgery that I can remember.
