What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

They say that if you do something for 21 days, it becomes a habit. If you stick with it for 3 months, it becomes a lifestyle. Last year, I set out to start my day and my workout routine at 5AM every weekday. At first, it was incredibly tough. I had to train my body to go to bed by 9PM. I also had to train my mind for a full 8 hours of sleep. After three weeks, things got easier. By the third month, I was truly settled into that new way of life.

The effect was genuinely positive. I felt more energized throughout the day. I had enough time to get everything done. Two years have passed. Although I still start my day at 5AM, now I dedicate the first hour in the morning to meditation. I also focus on spiritual connection. I moved back my workout routine to the evenings.

It takes a really strong willpower to exercise at 5AM and I really admire those who do it everyday.
