If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?
The perception of money is relative.
Money is a human invention designed to ease commercial transactions between parties that do not trust each other. It signifies immense power. Like any other form of power, its use for good depends on human integrity and kindness.
In this context, the amount is irrelevant. It is $1, $100, or a million dollars. Money, like any other gift, is neither begged for nor given away lightly.
Some are born with that gift. Others know how to obtain it, manage it, and multiply it. Yet, some simply do not have it.
I would treat surplus money the same as the rest. I would invest it. I would diversify it. I would make it work for me. First, I would guarantee my family’s well-being. Then, I’ll make sure this money is used to offer jobs for as many people as possible. Finally, I would assign it to reputable foundations. These foundations, with nobility and humanity, care for others and for nature.
