Where would you go on a shopping spree?
Shopping sprees? No, thank you.
I’ve never been the type to wait for a specific day of the year just to dive into impulsive shopping. I especially avoid doing so on days when everything is crowded, noisy, and chaotic. If I need to buy something, I go straight to the place and get exactly what I intended to get. I choose a day and time when I know I can shop calmly, without pressure or crowds.
When I travel, I usually set aside a weekend for essential purchases—things I had already planned or considered in advance. Nothing improvised, nothing driven by impulse.
I genuinely believe that mixing shopping with emotions is a mistake. Buying requires a clear mind and a certain level of detachment. The worst decisions—especially the ones involving what we choose to buy—are the ones made emotionally.
