What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?
My day begins at 5 AM. A cold shower wakes me up instantly. Mouthwash, comfortable clothes, and I’m ready for my 30 minutes of daily meditation. I thank God for another day of life and for everything in it. I recognize how fortunate I am. I never get tired of feeling thankful and blessed.
Then I start getting dressed. I make my bed and head downstairs to prepare breakfast. Water—then more water. It’s the first thing I give my body in the morning. I make my coffee. Strong as usual. Lots of fruit, two scrambled eggs, two slices of toast, jam, cereal, and cheese. That’s my usual breakfast.
While I eat, I plan the things I want to achieve during the day. That planning includes my work or my personal life. I clean up the kitchen and go upstairs to brush my teeth. I finish getting dressed. I order a taxi, and while I wait, I wrap up the last details of the day. Sometimes I even have time to post something on my social media.
My taxi arrives, and I leave home with a prayer, asking to return safe and sound. On the ride, I listen to a book summary or a podcast. It’s 8 AM—my day at the office has begun.
