The last risk I took in my life was six years ago, when I decided to move out and live on my own after spending a period of time living at my parents’ house. In the final years of that period, my relationship with my mother wasn’t going well because of our constant differences of opinion. I thought the best alternative was to move out, right after the Covid pandemic in 2020. I don’t regret that decision — it was the best one I could have made. My life improved from that moment on, and today my relationship with my mother is better than ever.
