Something I’ve learned is that if no one asks for your advice, it’s better not to step into anyone’s life. Don’t assume you have all the answers. It really is that simple, because all of us are figuring things out as we go. Some of us are just a little further down the road than others.

If someone younger than me were to ask for advice, I’d tell them not to let their emotions make decisions for them. Emotions betray us, and it’s better to tie up our horses before they take off galloping without direction. The best advice I could give anyone is to guard their emotions and make decisions with their mind and their intuition.
