If you could change the ending of any book, which one would it be?
I think every book I’ve read has had an acceptable ending, and I can’t think of a single one I’d want to change. It’s interesting how even authors themselves sometimes rewrite their stories because they feel the ending should have been different. Even the endings often change between the book and the film adaptation.
That’s the magic of reading and cinema. A universe of characters and situations is presented to the reader. In the end, it’s the reader who gives the story its true ending. The author simply offers their version.
