I don’t know if it’s the best excuse, but lately I’ve been hearing the classic: ‘I have to work.’ The truth is that when someone wants to, reasons abound; and when they don’t, excuses abound. I will always prefer people to be honest about what they want (or don’t want) instead of making up absurd excuses to avoid others. The best thing you can give someone is your sincerity and your time.
