If I could rewrite the ending of any book, I would choose the book of my own life. In truth, that’s what we do every day. Our book has an ending in mind (our dreams), but sometimes those dreams never come true — or at least not at the time we thought they would. Perhaps our life is already a dream fulfilled and we simply don’t notice it, because we’re distracted by the routine and the everyday rhythm of living.

The truth is that day by day we write the ending of our own book, through our decisions and through what we choose to make of each new day. We don’t realize that the end of the book can arrive at any moment, and we should make sure that the last thing we write in it is a moment filled with happiness.
