What’s the last movie that made you cry?

I have to admit that, on many occasions, I haven’t been able to hold back tears while watching a movie—especially when the story taps into family moments like reunions, memories, or forgiveness. Epic dramas like Casablanca or Gone with the Wind don’t affect me as much, nor do the sadness and desolation of Schindler’s List or The Pianist, but if everything ends with a hug, a return home, or a warm family gathering, I recognize that it moves me.

In that sense, Pixar has the exact formula to make people cry. Movies like Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Up, Ratatouille, or Coco are the perfect recipe for saying that “something got in our eye.” The last Pixar film I watched was Soul; I felt identified with the character, and it had the same emotional effect on me.
