What are your strategies for SEO?
Sometimes the daily prompts are very interesting. Other times, the person writing them must be a webmaster who spends twelve hours a day sitting in front of a computer and forgets that not everyone is technical or understands technical jargon.
To me, SEO means Search Engine Optimization. In other words, what I do to make the content I create on my website more appealing and easier for search engines like Google and Bing to find.
But what about the people who write in their blogs simply to relax, relieve stress, use writing as therapy, or vent their frustrations? Those people are not interested in being popular or generating thousands of hits on their blogs. They are interested in the freedom to express themselves openly and honestly, without being judged or questioned.
For them, and for me, the best SEO strategy is simply being yourself. Tell the truth, support your ideas with facts and evidence, be human, be real, and seek meaningful connections with other human beings. Let your message reach the people it is meant to reach.
Many people may disagree with our opinions, and that is perfectly fine. We all have the right and the freedom to express them, and we should all defend that right. If that happens to bring a lot of traffic from Google or Bing, then that’s just a welcome bonus.
