Tell us about a time when you felt out of place.

As my life progresses, the city moves at a dizzying speed. It makes me feel it’s not where I want to be. More and more, I sense that the city is built for the coldness and monotony of daily work. It accommodates the irreverence and recklessness of younger generations. Sadly, it encourages the rise of malice unlike anything seen in generations past. The city still offers many good things. These include greater job opportunities and access to better goods and services. Everything is close at hand. Yet, it suffers from an almost total absence of spiritual values. There is also a lack of family bonds and connection with nature.

As I get older, I feel that I’m out of place in the cities.
