I don’t really like cities in general. They all seem very alike to me, and once you’ve visited the tourist spots, there’s not much else to explore.
My city is no different from the rest. The tourist areas are usually crowded with visitors. On top of that, the hot and humid weather makes it unpleasant to be outdoors. Certain hours of the day are particularly uncomfortable. There are malls and restaurants to suit every taste. Still, once you’ve been to one, they all start to feel the same.

What I truly love is nature, silence, cold weather, mountains, and high altitudes. Any place far from the city that offers these qualities is my absolute favorite.

If I had to choose my favorite place in my city, it would be visiting my family. This is aside from the peace and comfort of my own home. I especially enjoy be with my kids, and visiting my parents and siblings.
