How do you handle fear and self-doubt?
The best way to deal with fear and insecurity is with calm, a cool mind, and faith.
There are moments in life when we simply don’t have control over our surroundings. No matter how disciplined and balanced our lives may be, there are things that slip out of our hands.
The most tangible example was the Covid epidemic in 2020. The world lived in constant fear of being reached by that lethal virus. As much as we believed we had control over our lives, a tiny virus brought us back to reality. We are vulnerable and fragile compared to other species.
How did we manage to move forward? By staying calm, organizing our environment, and adapting to change. It wasn’t easy—no one claims it was—but the vast majority of people were able to rise above that terrible time.
And finally, regardless of our beliefs, faith helped us stay strong and be thankful. It also helped us to understand that these things don’t happen by chance, but to leave us with lessons we needed to learn.
