What’s one habit that has improved your life the most?
There are four areas we must nurture in order to live a full life: mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Within these areas, there are many habits that—when practiced daily—contribute to our well‑being, improve our lives, and enrich our surroundings. Exercise, diet, rest, reading, learning, and positive social connections are among the most important habits.
However, the habit that has improved my life the most is meditation. Those 30 minutes a day of physical and mental disconnection, and of absolute connection with what is incomprehensible to us. That call to the place we come from and the place we are going. A call of gratitude for all the good things in our earthly life.
That moment of the day when we nourish our faith, make it stronger and more alive within us, is the best habit any human being can cultivate.
